The Edinburgh Festival Fringe
Much of JazzMain’s creative force has been in the creation of specially produced shows for the Edinburgh International Fringe Festival. Indeed, it is and is one of the very few jazz groups of its type to perform a sell-out run of shows on the Fringe, as it did last year with its critically acclaimed ‘Blue Note Nights in 2021- a feat the band will be repeating in 2022.
A previous Edinburgh Fringe Show ‘Diggin’ Dexter, was a specially curated series of performances highlighting the life and times of tenor sax colossus, Dexter Gordon, which the band performed at the 2019 Fringe to huge plaudits
